What is the dress code for your wedding?
The dress code is cocktail attire. In late September it cools-off in Santa Fe at night, so we recommend bringing a shawl or jacket in case of a sudden change in temperature.
Are children welcome?
We plan on this being an adults-only celebration. If you are traveling with children, we are happy to help set up babysitting arrangements. Please reach out to us!
Will there be vegan/vegetarian/gluten-free food options?
We will be offering a choice of a vegetarian meal at our wedding. If you are vegan, gluten-free, or have other dietary restrictions, please let us know and we will make sure to accommodate your needs .
Where should I stay?
We have arranged several room blocks around town at varying rates. Airbnb also has great options. Wherever you choose to stay, we recommend that you book early - Santa Fe is very popular to visit during the late summer and early fall, and hotel rates will dramatically increase as our wedding date nears.
Will there be a shuttle to the ceremony and reception?
Yes! If you are staying in town (whether at a hotel or elsewhere) and would like to ride the shuttle to the Four Seasons, it will be running at the following locations and times for pickup:
Hilton Santa Fe Plaza: Pickup at 4:50 PM
Inn of the Governors: Pickup at 5:00 PM
Drury Plaza Hotel: Pickup at 5:10 PM
Starting at 10:00 PM, the shuttle will run from the Four Seasons to the listed hotels on the plaza round robin style until 12:00 AM.
Should I rent a car?
Yes, we recommend renting a car. Though there is plenty to do in Santa Fe without a car, many of the area’s attractions are driving distance away, and having a car will allow you more flexibility during your stay.
How can I prepare for the altitude in Santa Fe?
Santa Fe is at approximately 7,000 feet, but parts of the city are actually closer to 8,000 feet and above. We recommend drinking lots of water in advance of your trip and staying hydrated and protected from the sun (which is strong!) once you arrive, and taking your first day at altitude easy. If you choose to go hiking , we recommend pacing yourself and choosing a hike with less elevation gain.
Is there someone I can contact if I have any other questions about the wedding?
Yes! If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Rachel or Natalie, or our alter egos (our parents).
